It’s great to practice to since it’s what they’ll actually have at the competition, and the tunes have a definite ending, i.e., no extra measures of music after your steps end, so you can get tell if their endings are on. If you need a set dance that’s not the original speed on the Kick It Up A Notch CD it offers a $2 saving.

We were honored to be asked by the Ridgefield Playhouse to provide dancers to perform the opener to Eileen Ivers and Immigrant Soul’s performance in December 2010. We look forward to their next visit!
Gaeli Storm – Cabbage
Gaelic Storm is an Irish band that consists of five members who came together about 10 years ago and now performs over 125 dates per year! The band has active relationships with Irish Dancing Schools around the nation, inviting dancers to perform at numerous shows year round. We love Gaelic Storm and enjoy performing with them. Take a look at Gaelic Storm’s new CD.
With their exquisitely produced award-winning recordings, ranging dynamically from the most sensitive and touching old Irish songs all the way to hard hitting reels and jigs, and with their heartwarming, dynamic live performances, Altan have moved audiences from Donegal to Tokyo to Seattle.
Throughout, there has been the unwavering commitment of the band to bringing the beauty of traditional music, particularly that of the Donegal fiddlers and singers, to contemporary audiences in a way that brings out all its qualities and destroys none. In fact, Altan have always believed that Irish traditional music is a modern music in every sense and its growing influence and popularity have proved them right.
